No se dispone de una comparaci\u00f3n directa de pembrolizumab cuando se usa en combinaci\u00f3n con quimioterapia frente pembrolizumab en monoterapia.<br><br>Antes de iniciar el tratamiento, los m\u00e9dicos deben valorar el balance benecio\/riesgo de las opciones de tratamiento disponibles (pembrolizumab en monoterapia o pembrolizumab en combinaci\u00f3n con quimioterapia) en pacientes con CPNM no tratados previamente cuyos tumores expresen PD-L1.<br><br>En el ensayo KEYNOTE-042, se observ\u00f3 un mayor n\u00famero de muertes los 4 meses posteriores al inicio del tratamiento, seguido de un benecio a largo plazo de la supervivencia, con pembrolizumab en monoterapia en comparaci\u00f3n con la quimioterapia.<br><br>Los datos de ecacia y seguridad de pacientes \u2265 75 a\u00f1os son limitados.
