Tambi\u00e9n se clasifican como de alto o de bajo riesgo,\u2028seg\u00fan su potencial oncog\u00e9nico.<sup>4<\/sup><\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n\n    <\/div>\n\n    <\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"   mhh-mcn-v1-paragraph mhh-mcn-v1-paragraph--154aa4ea7da4097cb31e38a8c70f5cc5\"><strong>Se han identificado m\u00e1s de 200 tipos de VPH;<\/strong> de estos, m\u00e1s de 40 tipos infectan el tracto ano-genital.<sup>5,6<\/sup> La infecci\u00f3n por VPH\u2028de bajo riesgo puede causar verrugas genitales, y la infecci\u00f3n persistente por <strong>VPH de alto riesgo puede provocar ciertos c\u00e1nceres.<sup>5<\/sup><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"   mhh-mcn-v1-paragraph mhh-mcn-v1-paragraph--babc73332c3dd15392014c40e7087699\">Para la mayor\u00eda de las personas, el VPH desaparece por s\u00ed solo. Para aquellos que no eliminan el virus, podr\u00eda causar ciertos c\u00e1nceres\u2028y enfermedades, m\u00e1s adelante en la vida.<sup>2<\/sup><\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"mhh-mcn-columns
